After college, Katty Post took a front desk job at The Ritz Carlton in New York City. One fateful day, a short staffed cleaning crew called her in to help. The work fit Katty’s detail-oriented nature and she switched positions, eventually working her way up to head of the department. By the end, Katty managed a staff of 450 in the immensely competitive world of high-end hotels. When she met Lydia she decided it was time to switch gears and own her own company.

Lydia

In high school, Lydia Madden’s love for music led her to a scholarship to the Berklee School of Music. After graduation, she traveled with the Delaware Symphony Orchestra as an administrative intern and found her passion in systems organization, eventually leading the team. When she met Katty, they combined Lydia’s passion for logistics with Katty’s knowledge of the cleaning industry and Sparkling Cleaning Company was born.
